"I travel a lot to Munich for work, and if I am to choose the hotel myself I always choose Living Hotel Prinzessen Elisabeth. The rooms are spacious and cosy and the prices are affordable. It's great to have a mini kitchen in the room, the employees at the hotel are always friendly and service minded, the wellness center is also very nice with a very good sauna, and it is practical with a shop (REWE) in the same building as the hotel! The hotel is situated in a very beautiful neighborhood in Munich, with very good restaurants (a good one even in the hotel but my favorite is Restaurant Il Piccolo Principe only 150 meters from the hotel) and cafes (my favorite is Eiscafé Italia only 400 meters from the hotel). The nearness to the Isar river is also wonderful, both for walking and also if you wanna have a swim in the river."

"The room was nice and the location of the hotel was perfect. As a long stay, the only problem I had was with the cleaning schedule. I asked several times to change the day of cleaning and almost every week they didn’t come the day I asked, as if at the reception they never notified it correctly. Other than that, my stay was enjoyable and I appreciated the flexibility of extending my stay as I needed to."

"I love the Hotel, the business apartment are big, comfortable and with all services I need for a long stay. Maybe there were some details to improve. Details about maintenance: lights above the bead and the kitchen didn't work, two shelves are broken in the wardrobe and problems with the heat. I was surprise, in 2023 the rate of the breakfast was 12 euros, and now 24 euros. I guess in two years, the inflation in Germany was not 100%."

"We spent an unforgettable nine days here. Our first impressions were of a cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. I'd especially like to highlight the friendliness and attentiveness of the reception team: managers Chiara and Anastasia made our stay truly comfortable. You feel welcome when interacting with them! The hotel interior deserves special attention – the luxurious style, stone decorative elements, and stunning marble elevators create the feeling of being in a true palace. The room is equipped with a compact kitchen, which was very welcome for those who enjoy the comforts of home. A special plus is the daily restocked refrigerator with water and beer. These little details make a stay special! We were also delighted with the quality and convenience of the laundry service. The location is ideal for those who enjoy walking: in just 30 minutes of leisurely walking, you can enjoy the picturesque route along the Isar River and find yourself in the city center. The REWE store next to the hotel was a real find for restocking. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning and heating in the rooms. However, this in no way detracted from the overall impression of a wonderful stay."

"I really loved having an actual tub instead of the tiny European shower, and having a bidet and a kitchenette was wonderful. The on-site sauna and 24-hour fitness center was also a great benefit, although unfortunately I didn't get around to using either. "The front desk and breakfast staff was great, but the housekeeping lacked attention to detail. The first day we left the quiet sign, but the second day, our bathroom was not cleaned, our trash was not taken out, the water in the fridge was not replaced and the bed was not made, and the third day, the towels on the floor were removed, but the floor in the bathroom was not vacuumed, and no water in the fridge was replaced. Was very unhappy with the housekeeping."

"The staff, location, and room setup made for a great stay — almost three weeks over three separate bookings this past summer. I would only recommend more consistency in what is provided: some rooms had scales while others didn’t, I needed to ask each time for dish soap and a sponge, only one had an AC unit, etc. Breakfast was prohibitively expensive so never tried it."

"Stayed a week - Staff looked after me very well! However, the building itself is old and struggles a bit. The upper floor rooms stay extremely hot, even when cool outside (when I arrived my Business Maisonette was over 36C. They don't seem to have air conditioning up there where the lower floors do seem to have units that provide cooler air. They did provide a small portable A/C unit to help bring the room to a more manageable ~25C which allowed me to sleep, although it struggled to keep up. (Kudos for trying for me!) Showers struggle to provide a constant temperature, even in the middle of the night. One must be careful not to be burned and then alternately frozen, requiring jumping in and out of the stream. But the staff were superb, being super friendly and doing everything they could to make me comfortable and address my concerns. Having the free minibar offering was nice as well - 2 beers and 2 waters on offer. Finally, enjoy the amazing music in the hotel - this crazy Muzak/Elevator music versions of all your favorite pop/rock/rap songs. I was sad they couldn't tell me how to get a copy for myself!"

"I have stayed many times and always enjoy the hotel and select a mezzanine apartment which is very enjoyable and comfortable Ideally located for local restaurants and quick easy transport links to the city centre. Next to a great supermarket for easy self catering the apartments are spacious and nicely designed. The walk along the river Isar into the city is highly recommended. We had a great stay and will be returning in the future. My only negative issue was a tempremental air con system and maybe the decor is now looking a little dated .. But overall a peaceful enjoyable stay as always and highly reccomended."

"Overall our room was just "ok", but the fact we saw roaches in our room -- as did our family in their room -- is not acceptable. Beyond that, other complaints are that there was no mirror upstairs where we naturally got dressed, there was no trashcan upstairs, the number of outlets was inadequate on both levels, and the lighting was also inadequate. A ceiling fan would have been nice to circulate the air. The controls next to the bed for a fan did nothing. The shower grab bar was unattached on one end and I had to screw the shower head on since more water was coming from where it connected than from the actual head. There was no water or beer in the fridge when we arrived, but this is a small thing. The mattress was ok but the pillows were horrible. On the positive, the hotel was perfectly situated for us. It was close to our family that lives in Munich and close to two bus stops. It is also next to a market which was very handy. The cleaning staff was friendly, even though communicating was a little difficult. I always like to unpack -- especially for longer trips -- and the closet space was very large, but that is where we saw roaches so we felt like we needed to shake everything out before wearing. I know the price was elevated for Oktoberfest, but, even so, it was overpriced. My mother has stayed there before and said the quality and cleanliness has gone downhill and she, too, wouldn't recommend."

"Long story short, we made reservations for 3 rooms, due to medical family emergency surgery, only one couple could travel. We paid for 3 rooms a. the hotel rented the other 2 rooms a. never advised us they rented them a. then never refunded any money, meaning they got double the money for the rooms. Louise, reservation manager, refused to speak to us a. scammed us out of the other 2 rooms. Legally, we paid for 3 rooms a. received 1!!!! Very poor customer service a. definitely a scam hotel. Do not stay here!"

"Rooms are old, slightly smelly... A very old looking and worn down sofa in the room didn't improve the situation much. The bidet in the bathroom was removed, and the holes in the wall were shut with duct tape. Staff were a bit absent, called reception a few times, but no one would pick up. And when they were present, were dismissive and unhelpful."

"Well-located, we used the hotel parking which was really easy and convenient. Breakfast was really good, we also made use of the sauna after a long day of walking in cold weather which was great - it was small but as the hotel was quiet we had the facilities to ourselves and it was a really nice way to unwind and warm up. Room was spacious - decor probably could use an update (particularly the curtains) but everything was clean. The customer service was excellent - we really enjoyed our stay."

"I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable and quite spacious. It was on the 5th floor and had a wonderful view. It had a small kitchenette and in the fridge there were 2 bottles of beer and 2 bottles of water, for free, on a daily basis. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast had a great variety of choices, and the hotel had a sauna and a gym which could be used free of charge. The personner was extremely helpful and polite. All in all I enjoyed my stay quite a lot and felt very welcome."

"I would have given a 4.5 - 5 rating except there were a couple of things. I chose to not have the room cleaned during my 4 day, 3-night stay because I wanted to donate that savings to the woman’s organization,. However, I did not know that meant that my coffee supplies would not get refilled. They came in and refilled the beer in the refrigerator but not the coffee. I also decided to get some new towels on the 3rd day because the shower got water all over the floor and all my towels were wet. The front desk did not seem to like that I asked for more coffee capsules and towels. So I would not choose to opt out of my room being cleaned again. The hairdryer on the wall did not work but they have a hairdryer at the front desk Overall, it was a good experience and I would stay there again. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so I can not comment on that."

"The stay was very good, the room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was good. When we arrived, the room was very very warm, so we had to open the window and in the end we turned off the ventilation, to be able to cool the room down. Also the ventilation in the bathroom was way too full of dust, so i'm quite sure the airflow isn't optimum and soon you may have problems regarding to humidity in this bathroom."
